Sometimes,
life opens and you find yourself,
maybe for the first time,
being carried by the water
downstream.
Years of fighting are over.

No, this is not retirement.
This is alignment with the god inside you.
For once, the inner god
is not tormented by the outer world,
and in the outer world,
everything comes with ease.
You can’t cling to this.
Don’t try to claim it.
Simply experience it
and know that this river
is your road to destiny.
Finally and quietly,
your life has dropped upon you.
This was the old way,
and you are now in it.
